Configure services
The current version does not include a QnALog account or managed service. You choose the providers and enter their service addresses and credentials in the plugin settings.
Transcription
Section titled “Transcription”Configure a supported speech-to-text service before processing a recording. The plugin sends audio to the address you configure. A local service can keep this request on your device or network.
Language model
Section titled “Language model”Configure a language model service for live outlines, note organization, follow-up questions, and related features. The plugin sends transcript text and prompt context to the address you configure.
Open QnALog settings in Obsidian, complete the service profiles you intend to use, and check the provider’s endpoint and credentials. The available fields depend on the selected provider. Keep API keys in the settings screen; do not put them in your notes.
Recordings and generated notes are written to your vault. See the privacy details for network and file access.
