Do I need a QnALog account?
Section titled “Do I need a QnALog account?”No. The current plugin uses transcription and language model services that you configure. Account sign-in and a managed subscription are planned.
Where are recordings and notes stored?
Section titled “Where are recordings and notes stored?”QnALog writes them to folders in your Obsidian vault. You can change the default paths in the plugin settings.
Why does the input level stay still?
Section titled “Why does the input level stay still?”Check the selected input device and run the device test in QnALog settings. Recording computer audio can require a virtual audio device, such as BlackHole on macOS or VB-Cable on Windows.
Can I use QnALog on mobile?
Section titled “Can I use QnALog on mobile?”Yes. Mobile recording uses the device microphone. Computer audio capture, virtual devices, and some real-time service configurations require desktop Obsidian.
What happens if processing is interrupted?
Section titled “What happens if processing is interrupted?”The processing panel shows the failed step. You can retry that step while keeping completed work. QnALog keeps the original transcript.
