First recording

  1. Open the QnALog sidebar and choose a note template and audio input.
  2. Start recording. Check that the input level moves when the microphone receives sound.
  3. Follow the live outline. Add a question, key point, person, or task in the live note area when needed.
  4. Stop recording. Follow transcription, model processing, and Markdown writing in the processing panel.
  5. Open the completed note in your vault. Review the transcript and summary before using them.
  6. Review suggested people, tasks, and terms before saving them as separate vault objects.

If a processing step fails, use its retry action. QnALog keeps the original transcript and completed parts of the note. Recordings shorter than 10 seconds do not enter automatic transcription.
